Allison DeFord

Allison began her career as a graphic designer over 20 years ago after graduating from California State University Long Beach. In 1994 she combined her right-brain creative genius and left-brain business sense to start her own design firm. After a 15-year run as DeFord Designs, she took the firm in a bold new direction, renaming it Felt and focusing exclusively on retooling established brands in the building products industry.
Filled with whole-brain goodness, Allison oversees the creative process as well as brand strategy and business development. Through her guidance, the Felt team has been recognized nationally by American Advertising and Graphic Design 25, the Communicator Awards, the American Graphic Design Awards and the Davey Awards (so named for David of David and Goliath) for “small firms, big results.
